We invite you to come, View the Eagles, Moose, Caribou and Fish the Nushagak. The Nushagak River has all 5 of the Salmon spieces, Large Rainbows, Artic Char, Grayling and Northern Pike. The Nushagak River has a limited number of camps, separated over miles of scenic river.
We live and breath the wild outdoor adventures on the Nushagak. For more information, read on and "Catch the Fever"!

The camp, located on the Nushagak River which flows into the Bristol Bay, is a short distance to the ocean. The Wilderness Camp is one of the Prettiest, Remote Locations in Alaska.
Wilderness Camp: Our camp is located right next to the Nushagak River. It consists of Heavy Duty Weatherport Tents with Cots for our clients, Electricity, Hot Shower and Freezer. We have a cook-shack and recreation room for evening activities, and of course, Fish Stories!
The Fishing Fever Camp can accommodate 12 Guests at a time.
Overview | Accommodations | Fishing | Other Information | Rates | Other Information | View on Map The Best Salmon Fishing in Alaska! The Nushagak is Filled with Fresh Salmon, Chinook's (Kings), Chum's, Sockeye (Red's), Coho or Silver's, and Pink's or Humpback's.
In our Clear Water we have Large Rainbow's, Grayling, Northern Pike, and Sea run Dollies. You can see the fish leaving the river and going up the streams.
Our Chinooks (Kings) run at 20-50 lb. Chum run 7-14 lb. Sockeye (Reds) run 7-14 lb. Coho (Silvers) run 7-15 lb.
We have caught Rainbow in the 12 lb. range, Pike to 22 lb., right near our camp.
For the Sportsman (Hunter) that would like to fish for Coho-Silvers and shoot a couple Caribou, The Malchatna Caribou herd of 200,000+ swim the river right at our camp, throughout the month of August. We have an unguided Fishing-Hunting Trip just for you.

From Dillingham you can fly to Ekwok Alaska on a Bush Plane. We will pick you up in Ekwok and Jet Boat you to Camp. For those that want a Float Plane, you can Land right at the Fishing Fever Camp. Ask for our preferred flights!
Clothing: It is an understatement that the weather in Alaska is unpredictable. Conditions may vary from day to day. It is advisable to exercise considerable care in selecting appropriate clothes.
Our temperature can change from the 40's to the 70's. Along with your warm clothing, be sure to bring good rain gear and a hat. It is recommended to bring waders with warm socks.
Fishing gear: Bring whatever type that you are familiar with and prefer to use.
Spinning and Bait Casting gear should include a Medium to Medium Heavy action Rods and Reels capable to hold 25-30 LB line during King Season. Also a light duty action that will handle line up to 15 LB . For the Fly Fisherman a 9 or 10 weight Fly Rod with a Reel that has a good Disk Drag, a 100 yard backup line.
Spin and Cast for Red's and Coho-Silvers, we recommend Light to Medium action up to 15lb.Test. A Fly Rod 4 to 7 Weight.
We recommend that you bring back-up line, a supply of terminal gear including swivels and lures.

July 2 - 8 Fantastic Nushagak King Fishing, The Chum and Reds are hot and heavy!
July 8 - 14 Fantastic Nushagak Kings, Heavy Reds and Chum Salmon. Pinks starting on even years.
July 14 - July 20 Fantastic Sockeye (Reds), Still a few Kings and Chum Salmon. The Nushagak River has an escapement of 1,600,000 Sockeye, The famous Russian River would not know what to do with this many Fish!
July 20 - 26 Excellent Sockeye with a few Coho's-Silvers starting to come by.
July 31 - August 6 (The Caribou Season opens August 1) The Coho-Silvers fishing is Excellent.
August 6 - 12 Fantastic Coho-Silvers Fishing. Northern Pike are fat and happy and really aggressive after you are tired of to many Silvers and need a break. Caribou Season.
August 12 - 18 Fantastic Silver Fishing, Hunting Caribou? Bou and Silvers make a Great Meal!
August 18 - 24 The fresh Coho-Silvers are a thrill of your Life. This Fantastic Fishing goes on as long as your ability to endure these Wild Fish!
